"Eastern philosophy, in fact, is a very strange philosophy, which has influenced many people, and it is not necessary only in the East. This kind of philosophy can be found in many area in the world, but it is indistinct. It can pull you back to the reality, it can also push you away from reality at any time. You know, there's a point in the river, in the short history, where you need to communicate through this philosophy of having relationships with people."

“I gave up a lot of methods and finally chose this way. At first it was a struggle, then it became a relief, then an understanding, and then it became a total acceptance.”

“I refer to this as the occurrence of "lotus image." ln addition to displaying"lotus posture" in my works, I use a structure called "lotus posture", which is cross-legged, interleaved and intertwined. This position is considered to be the most

stable posture, but at the same time, it forms a twisting shape and is in tension. It is not so much that this cross is carried through the artist's realistic landscape, but that the artist reveals this cross in the process of depicting Qinling Mountains and himself.

"Lotus posture" is a relationship that is ubiquitous in competitive works.”

“I don’t think there’s a tragedy in my work, I think it’s a reality. It’s a reality that’s not just about me, it’s a comprehensive reality. It’s just that sometimes we express that reality by hiding.”

"These works are a relic for the future. You can get a sense of the present person in that moment. I don't really have any grand visions, and I'm not trying to be a wake-up call in this way. I just have my way of saying things about myself."
